Jennie Wade house September 8, 2009

We were fortunate enough to be able to spend a few hours investigating this house. The only civilian killed during the battle of Gettysburg was Jennie Wade. She fled to her sister Georgia McClellan’s home for safety during the war (her sister’s home is now officially named “The Jennie Wade house”). On July 3, 1863 a stray bullet came through the door and killed Jennie instantly. The events here were tragic and it seems that some of that energy may still remain in this home.
TWPG was not able to obtain the original EVP files associated with this investigation, and what is in the video footage is all the documentation we were able to obtain.
